I loved this, Greta! I am so jealous of Iceland (I want to hear ALL about it) and I am rooting for you in your next steps for Project Alchemy. Also, I absolutely loved your flash fiction piece!
Thanks so much Nicole! I think the early April newsletter will contain an Iceland update and some photos for sure. I'm excited to see you here on Substack, too! Looking forward to following you here, too :)
Loved this. You hit all the right notes with these characters. Makes me feel sorry for them and love them and hopeful that it all works out in the end. It probably won't, and that makes the moments you captured feel precious and bittersweet. Thanks!
I really like the idea of writing reflections on your story. What a great way to be intentional about what you're writing and where you want it to go. Also writing a piece entirely of dialogue sounds like a challenge, but well done!
Thank you!! It was a fun challenge! And yes, I found the story reflection to be really helpful for setting a direction for this upcoming draft. I might do that each time, just to clarify what it is I want to accomplish in each draft, and to see if the vision for the story has shifted at all.

Thank you!! It was a fun exercise, and I'm glad the result resonated a bit!

the Elden Ring DLC trailer sent me into a tailspin of playing so much of that game with nothing even to do in it 😭😅
Right?! There's always more lore hunting to be done if you've explored multiple endings!
